Weekly sessions for players aged 16+ looking to improve through on court game play. Player development is supported by a qualified coach who will offer tips and guidance on request.
Through the Safari Badminton Adults sessions players who wish to broaden their game play experience can choose to represent Safari Badminton in the Notts BA competitive league. For more information on the Safari Badminton Team and their progress click here.
Held on Monday and Thursday* evenings 8.00pm – 10.00pm at Kimberley Leisure Centre (NG16 2NJ) Safari Badminton Adults will focus on the following areas:
- Weekly coaching & game play
- Develop game play & sportsmanship in a safe & friendly environment
- Play with friends or meet new players
- Various formats with a focus on doubles and mixed games
*During the competitive season (Oct – Mar) Safari Badminton plays their Home matches on Monday and Thursday evenings 7pm – 10pm. On a match night there will be two courts for social players and 2 courts for the match. A list of Safari Badminton fixtures can be seen here.

- Players should wear appropriate sportswear and clean indoor trainers
- Shuttles are provided
- Rackets provided if needed
- Coaches hold enhanced DBS (formerly CRB), Public Liability, and Professional Indemnity insurance
- Professional coaches qualified to Badminton England Level 2
