Safari Badminton is proud to be able to work with former Welsh international and National Badminton League (NBL) coach Martyn Lewis to bring players a great performance coaching opportunity to improve their technical and tactical knowledge and game play.
The Performance Coaching Weekend sessions will largely be doubles based and include attacking, defending and rotation drills with an emphasis on playing position, racket carriage, shot choice, technical movement and footwork. Players are grouped together and will simulate specific, isolated technical skills. Creating consistency within individual elements which will improve overall game play when brought together.

What you need to know
- Sessions run over a weekend. Beginning late enough on day one for players to travel to the venue and finishing early enough on day two for players to make the journey home
- Enthusiastic and developing players welcome
- Ideal for regular club and league players
- Come on your own, with your regular playing partner or friend
- Players should wear appropriate sportswear and clean indoor trainers/court shoes
- Shuttles are provided
- Rackets provided if needed
